## DESCRIPTION

IANA assigned the whole 4200–4299 range to VRML Multi User Systems decades ago, and 4279 has no individual registration or reference. No widely deployed software defaults to it, and scan frequency data puts it near the bottom of the list. Identify the listener directly; the registry name tells you nothing about what is actually there.
