Legacy RSA ACE/Server replica sync (unassigned at IANA)

Unassigned today; historically part of RSA ACE/Server's replica synchronisation block.

TCP IANA registry

Description

IANA lists 5508-5539 as unassigned, so 5510 has no current registration. Its historical use comes from RSA ACE/Server (later Authentication Manager), whose shipped services file allocated securidprop_00 through securidprop_10 across 5505-5515 for server-to-replica synchronisation, with 5510 serving replica 5. Outside a legacy SecurID deployment, an open 5510 is some application's own choice of port.

Do not expose

If this is SecurID replication, it is authentication-infrastructure traffic between servers and belongs on an internal segment only.
